Our History

Our story began in 1995 as Mobile Phone Supercover, a company formed for the sole purpose of providing extended warranty on mobile phones.

20 years on and as popularity increased for portable consumer gadgets, a niche in the market was discovered and Supercover Insurance was created – specialising in providing cover on most everyday electronic items.

Since our birth, we are proud to have become one of the leading insurance specialists today. We now have over 1,000 channel partners across the U.K. and Republic of Ireland, providing our services to a range of Blue Chip organisations and insuring more than 1.6 million customers to date.

To help us in achieving our vision of bringing innovation to our ever increasing portfolio, we are also pleased to have introduced our 'Tools in Transit', 'Bicycle Insurance' and 'Handbag Cover'.
